Hi, I’m Simran and I have recently graduated from the University of Sussex with a Law with Politics degree. During my time studying, I have enjoyed tutoring GCSE students on English Language, as studying and subsequently practising law is all about understanding semantics and interpretation, therefore being able to utilise these skills can help my tutees better understand the purpose of texts and strengthen their assessment skills. The subjects I am most passionate about are English Language and English Literature, as well as Geography which explores the link between humans and the non-human nature; this is also an area I am interested in. My teaching style can be best described as personalised to the tutee in question, as I like to focus on the areas that they are not confident in and expanding this into developing strong exam skills.
