I am currently a second year medical student studying at Lancaster Medical School. I am an extremely hard worker who has exceptional work ethic. I have a passion for learning the human body and a passion for teaching and be able to help individuals to achieve to the best of their ability no matter their background. My subjects of interest are Biology, Chemistry and Maths both at GCSE & A-level. My teaching style is very varied depending on the subject. For example for Biology and Chemistry I like to teach with diagrams to help students visualise the basic concept clearly and before the end of each session I would add exam-style practice questions similar to the topic the students have been taught. This will help them to cement their learning as well as target weaker areas that require more work. With Maths I feel that it is important to teach with examples and a myriad of practice questions. Maths GCSE is methodical subject and by incorporating practice questions will facilitate the learning of the students and help them to achieve high marks in the exams. Once the student knows the mark scheme and how to approach each question then the maths problem becomes very easy to solve.
