I am an experienced tutor specialising in Maths, Physics and Computer Science, passionate about giving a value-added experience to my tutees. I’ve been involved in private tuition since 2016 alongside my undergraduate degree, and have also volunteered with CodeFirstGirls since May 2020, an initiative seeking to upskill young women through free coding courses. I’ve also been fortunate enough to write and deliver an “Introduction to Programming” course for my undergraduate university which I delivered over a period of 2 months.
My teaching style is best described as enthusiastic, thoughtful and encouraging. For me, it’s about creating a shared sense of, and passion for, learning and truly understanding the content in contrast to simply coaching for an exam style. This richer level of comprehension allows my tutees to flourish during and after the tutoring sessions.
